The Wardens thank God for his work at All Saints in 2016 – bringing new people to the church, transforming people’s lives and answering their prayers.
Last Year
Following the continued and consistent generosity and vision of our congregation, we have again been able to exceed our giving budget! This allowed us to meet the ministry needs as planned and exceed expectations in support for our mission partners since we give 10% of the general offertory.
Expected Revision of Budget for 2017
As the new parish council and warden team meet post the AGM we expect to revise our budget cost components. Our original plan was prior to Roger announcing his move to Anglicare, so now we have Dougal as Acting Rector and a locum arrangement with the very experienced Greg Olliffe as we search for our new Rector. Whilst this is a short-term increase in cost we should end up with costs being the same or lower for 2017 once we consider the transition time with our nominators.
We also received news of a successful grant application supporting the installation of air conditioning and solar panels, which will adjust our capital expenditure based on the gap between the funding and the cost which is still being worked through.

Thank you to Jane Partridge who has done a wonderful job over the last year as treasurer under circumstances that were often difficult and time pressured. She is handing over to Geoff Neill who joins us with much enthusiasm and expertise as well. Also, Matt Goddard has served us again as auditor this year, we thank you for your efforts and will do it all again next year!
The wardens are delighted anew every year to be buoyed by your fantastic support in prayers, finances, ideas and action. We relish the challenge to continue to take full advantage of the opportunities God places before us in North Epping, Epping and this year and into an exciting future.
