‘For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich’
2 Corinthians 8:9
Generosity is core to Christianity. God has been generous to us beyond our understanding or appreciation. And so, Paul urges us to be generous to those who have less, not just with our money, but also with our time, relationships, energy, homes, talents and everything that God has gifted to us. God, through Paul, promises that this will bring blessing to many and glory to God.
