Praying for other people, such as our family & friends is normal for us as Christians. Praying about studies, recovery from sickness & surgery, for future jobs, suitable marriage partners, & housing. All of these are right & good for which to pray.
But praying for others can be so much more.
Looking at biblical prayers can take us higher, deeper & further in prayers, as we see more of God’s agenda for the world, learning to pray in line with His desires for His people. We can learn how to pray with thanksgiving & petition from the prayers of the Apostle Paul, & praying for God’s people when they sin, from the book of Ezra.
