The Lord’s Prayer is possibly the most well known part of Scripture, ever. But looking at it here we see what it is to call God “Father”, especially in relation to earthly fathers. Jesus encourages us to be bold in bringing requests to God, because we come to him as adopted children, united with Christ, confident that he loves us.
