Bible Readings: 1 Ki 17:17‑24, Acts 9:32‑43
Luke uses these two miracles to portray Peter as an authentic apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ and to show that Jesus is continuing His ministry (Acts 1:1,2 cf. Acts 9:34).
We note that both miracles followed the example of Jesus, were performed by the power of Jesus, testified to the glory of Jesus and were signs of Jesus salvation.
