Between 626 and 586BC, the prophet Jeremiah was appointed by God to broadcast a deeply unpopular message. Times were desperate for the kingdom of Judah. Powerful enemies were looming. And Jeremiah’s message was that salvation would only be found on the other side of judgement. In term 3 2025, we’ll be exploring the book of Jeremiah – an anthology of this prophet’s messages. We’ll see the seriousness of the unfaithfulness of God’s ancient people, but also the hope that still shines through.
