From time to time life can be a bit too much. The birth of a child, sickness, a death in the family, or other things come up that make everyday things difficult. One of the ways we as a community love and serve each other is by helping people out when things get tough.
What is “take them a meal”?
There’s a great website put together by some folks over in the US that helps to co-ordinate getting meals to people who need them:
“TakeThemAMeal.com is a free online tool for coordinating the delivery of meals to someone in need.”
How do I take someone a meal?
Follow this link to the “take them a meal” website to join a group of people who volunteer to take meals to particular people in our community in and around Epping.
Currently we are supporting:
Log in with the last name of the person you want to take a meal to, and the password nefood.
Alternatively contact Joan Kemmis or Rosemary Royer via the form below and they will co-ordinate it for you.
This is a great way for us all to help each other at times of need – and to spread the word of Jesus.
