Carols 2017 – What a Night!

Carols 2017 – What a Night!

As the legendary, Simon and Garfunkel said during their famous Central Park concert – “What a night!” North Epping Carols 2017 was a fabulous night. We were blessed with mild, fine weather, wonderful music, and great food and fellowship on the lawns of Epping Oval.

The event was compèred by the entertaining Tim and Chelsea, we enjoyed singing carols with the remarkable All Saints North Epping Carols Choir, and we enjoyed the extraordinary vocal talents of All Saints singers and the musical talents of the Lifeway band. We were reminded of God’s extraordinary love for us all in sending Jesus to be born at the first Christmas. And we finished off with some awesome fireworks – we celebrated the birth of Jesus in style!

Of course, we need to thank our wonderful sponsors:

Without our generous sponsors it would have been impossible for us to share this great evening. We also need to make a special mention to all the volunteers, both on the night and in the lead-up.  Thank you! Together we once again created the wonderful warm atmosphere of community that so many other suburbs would be envious of. North Epping really is a special place!

Finally, thank you to all of you for coming and sharing the evening with your friends. We look forward to bringing Carols to Epping Oval again in 2018. Meanwhile, we warmly welcome you to come to any of our Sunday services to hear more about the “Son of God, love’s pure light” who we sang about in the carols (Silent Night).

Our January 2018 Sunday services are 9:30am and 6:30pm.

And please join us at our Reconnect Sunday 4th February 2018: 9am, 10:30am and 6:30pm
