Fear and Faithfulness

Fear and Faithfulness

We all resolve not to repeat the mistakes of our parents – but often end up doing so anyway.   In Genesis 26 we hear God’s grand promises to Abraham being passed on to his son Isaac, and see Isaac following in his father’s footsteps as he responds. Isaac eventually progresses from fear to faith, which enables those around him to move from hostility to admiration.  We examine how this transformation can occur in him and in us.
