On July 20 All Saints officially welcomed Reverend Paul Sampson as rector of All Saints Anglican Church.
In addition to family and friends, this magnificent occasion drew a packed crowd who were excited to pray for Paul’s ministry. A host of visiting clergy along with scores of people from the parish attended. And the Sampson’s received a typically warm ‘North Epping’ welcome.
We were pleased to host two special guests: Mr Damien Tudehope MP, State Member for Epping and Mr Steve Russell, Mayor of Hornsby Shire.
Bishop Chris Edwards presided and, on behalf of Archbishop Glenn Davies, formally licensed Paul as rector of the North Epping Parish. During the service Chris encouraged Paul to labour with all God’s energy. Area mission leader (Rev) Bruce Stanley called on Paul to pray earnestly for the people under his care. And Bishop Chris called on the parish to support Paul and his family.
Take a moment now to look through some of the images from the night!

I attended that parish from 1968 to 1974 during which time I was on the council and my two eldest children were baptised there.
